Hooves, Paws and Claws History
Hooves, Paws and Claws started from a small shop in the Adelaide hills town of Inglewood. It was known as Inglewood Grain and Fodder.
The business was purchased by the present owners in June 2000. It operated from a small rented premises of no more than 100 square metres. The business was also the local fruit and vegetable retail outlet. All stock had to be unloaded from the delivery trucks by hand as premises were not large enough to be suited for a forklift.
In 2005 the owners decided it was time to bite the bullet and relocate to larger premises. The hunt was on to find a suitable location within the North eastern suburbs but still trying to be able to service its valued customers.
After months of searching its current location at 133 Tolley Road, St Agnes became available. Many hours of work was then put in to turn the old Auto Electrical workshop into a suitable retail outlet for fodder, saddlery and pet food products.
On the 20th October 2005 the business opened its doors under the name of Hooves Paws and Claws.
Since opening the business it has expanded its range and stock level of all product, including an enlarged pet food and accessories range and recently we have updated our website to be more useful for visitors to our retail store.
